Today I bring you this recipe as an alternative for people like me who want to enter the world of veganism, vegetarianism or simply are looking for a healthier and more harmonious lifestyle with our planet and animals.

There are more and more people who want to eat consciously, people who want to consume products that not only bring nutrition to their lives but also have a positive impact on the environment and their health.
Eating consciously is to look beyond our taste for food, is to try to be sensible and consume foods that bring benefits to our body.

It is to be aware that just the fact of changing our way of eating can bring health to our lives and at the same time we learn to be more respectful with animals.
Eating healthy can be not only delicious, but it brings multiple health benefits:

  • This dish is an authentic concentrate of nutrients that surpasses in nutritional value to similar meat-based recipes, since the dough is made from lentils and avocado.

  • Lentils are beneficial for: The metabolism, favors the production and maintenance of tissues, diabetes, because they are very well tolerated for those who suffer from it, favors the blood because it is rich in iron and other nutrients, and also helps in pregnancy, lactation for its richness in protein, iron and phosphate.

  • On the other hand the avocado is a fruit that being rich in healthy fat helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood.

Hoy les traigo esta receta como una alternativa para las personas que como yo quieran introducirse al mundo del veganismo, vegetarianismo o simplemente esten buscando un estilo de vida mas saludable y mas armoniosa con nuestro planeta y los animales.

Cada vez estan surgiendo mas personas que desean comer de manera conciente, personas que quieren consumir productos que no solo aporten nutricion a su vida sino que tambien tengan un impacto positivo en el medio ambiente y en su salud.

Comer conciente es ver mas alla de nuestro gusto por comer, es procurar ser sensatos y consumir alimentos que aporten beneficios a nuestro organismo.
Es ser conciente de que solo el hecho de cambiar nuestra forma de comer puede aportar salud a nuestra vida y a la vez aprendemos a ser cada vez mas respetuoso con los animales.

Comer sano puede ser ademas de delicioso, aporta multiples beneficios para la salud:

• Este plato es un autentico concentrado de nutrientes que supera en valor nutritivo a recetas similares a base de carne, ya que la masa esta hecha a base de lentejas y aguacate.

• Las lentejas resultan beneciosas para: El metabolismo, favorece la produccion y el mantenimiento de los tejidos, la diabetes, porque son muy bien toleradas para quien la sufren, la sagre ya que es rica en hierro y otros nutrientes, y tambien ayuda en el embarazo, lactancia por su riqueza en proteinas, hierro y fosfato.

• Por otro lado el aguacate es un fruta que al ser rica en grasa saludable ayuda a reducir el nivel de colesterol en la sangre.

Ingredients

• 1 cup lentils
• Hamburguer Bun
• 1 carrot
• 1 onion
• 2 tomatoes
• 6 cloves of garlic
• 1/2 cup corn flour
• 1 avocado
• Vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoon vegetable margarine
• 1 leek branch
• 1 sprig of parsley
• Lettuce
• 15 ml oregano
• 75 ml of thyme
• 5 ml garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon pizza sauce
• Ketchup
• Mayonnaise
• Salt and pepper to taste

• For the garnish:
• Two medium potatoes

Ingredientes

• 1 taza de lentejas
• Pan de Hamburguesa
• 1 Zanahoria
• 1 Cebolla
• 2 Tomates
• 6 Dientes de ajo
• 1/2 Taza de Harina de maiz
• 1 Aguacate
• Aceite Vegetal
• 2 Cucharadas de margarina Vegetal
• 1 rama de puerro
• 1 rama de perejil
• Lechuga
• 15 ml de oregano
• 75 ml de Tomillo
• 5 ml de ajo en polvo
• 1 cucharada de salsa de soja
• 1 cucharada de salsa de pizza
• Ketchup
• Mayonesa
• Sal y pimienta al gusto

• Para la guarnicion:
• Dos papas medianas

Preparation:

• In a pot with water, boil the lentils with a pinch of salt, once ready proceed to prepare the other ingredients.

• En una olla con agua, ponemos a hervir las lentejas con una pizca de sal, una vez lista procedemos a preparar los demas ingredientes.

• Grate the carrot.
• Dice the onion and leek.
• Chop the parsley
• Crush the garlic until it becomes paste.

• Rallamos la zanahoria
• Picamos la cebolla en cuadritos y el puerro
• Picamos el perejil
• Machacamos el ajo hasta volverlo pasta.

• In a frying pan, fry the onion and leek with a little oil, and add the garlic, stirring until golden brown. Then add the tablespoon of pizza sauce.

• Then we proceed to prepare our mixture.

• En una sarten, sofreimos la cebolla y el puerro con un poco de aceite, y le agregamos el ajo, meneamos hasta que se dore. A continuacion le adicionamos la cucharada de salsa de pizza.

• Luego procedemos a preparar nuestra mezcla.

• For this we are going to mix the lentils, the carrot, the corn flour and the butter, we mash everything.

• Para ello vamos a mezclar las lentejas, la zanahoria, la harina de maiz y la mantequilla, machacamos todo.

• Then we add the soy sauce, parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, pepper and salt.

• Add the previously cooked onion and leek.

• With our hands we are going to knead until we create a homogeneous mixture.

• Then we will begin to shape it into a hamburger with our hands.

• Despues le adicionamos la salsa de china, el perejil, el tomillo, oregano, ajo en polvo, pimienta y sal.

• Agregamos la Cebolla y el puerro previamente cocidos.

• Con nuestras manos vamos a amasar hasta crear una mezcla homogenea.

• A continuacion empezaremos a darle forma de hamburguesa con nuestras manos.

• We proceed to cook them:

• Procedemos a cocinarlas:
• Cocinamos en una sarten con aceite vegetal hasta que se dore de un lado y luego del otro, nos debe quedar asi.

    Now for the fun part😜:

• Assemble the burger😋
• First, we spread mayonnaise on the bun.
• Then we put:
• Lettuce
• The Tomato
• Onion
• Lentil hamburger
• On top Ketchup
• Avocado
• And ready!
• Here we have our delicious vegan hamburger.

   Ahora la parte divertida😜

• Armar la hamburguesa😋
• Primero le untamos mayonesa al pan
• Luego le ponemos:
• La Lechuga
• El Tomate
• La Cebolla
• Hamburguesa de lenteja
• Por encima Ketchup
• El Aguacate
• Y Listo!
• Aqui tenemos nuestra deliciosa hamburguesa vegana

• Now we will make our potatoes:
• Ahora haremos nuestras papas:
)

• Wash, peel and cut the potato into fries chips.
• Season with thyme, garlic powder, salt, and cook.
{If you wish, you can also bake them in the oven}

• Lavamos, pelamos y cortamos la papa en forma de papitas.
• Sazonamos tomillo, ajo en polvo, sal, y a cocinar.
{Si deseas puedes hornearlas}

• Finally we add some chopped leek to our vegan mayonnaise, and that's it!!

To eat, to enjoy, to savor, hahaha.😋

• Finalmente agregamos un poco de puerro picado a nuestra mayonesa vegana, y listo!!
A comer, a disfrutar, a saborear jajaja😋
