Hello my dear friends with a sweet tooth, today I show you in this post a delicious quesillo that I prepared. I tell you that it is one of my favorites, this dessert is traditional from Venezuela, creamy and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 390 gr of condensed milk
- 390 gr of liquid milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 30 grams of sugar
8 servings ⌚ 45 minutes
Preparation :
- The first thing is to make the caramel in the same quesillera, add the 30 gr of sugar over medium heat, do not stir the caramel with a spoon, it is done by taking the pot by the edge and turning over itself. We must be careful not to burn it, take it out of the fire before it gets too dark or it will taste bitter.
- Then in a blender or with a mixer, this time I used the blender, add the condensed milk, eggs, liquid milk and vanilla, blend for one minute.
- Pour the mixture into the mold with the caramel, place a lid or aluminum foil.
- Place the cheesecake maker in a larger container in a bain-marie over medium heat for 45 minutes, making sure that the water does not dry out.
- We will know it is ready when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
Let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight (it tastes better that way).
To unmold, run a thin knife around the quesillo, turn out onto a wide, slightly deep plate to allow the caramel to drip off.
Serve and enjoy this delicious Venezuelan dessert.
