Since I found out about searing technique, now I am quite obsessed with pan seared anything. Today, my meal plan includes whole wheat toast with pan seared seabass and low seasoned. I also add additional sesame seeds. I think this is one of my favorite meal too.

Since I started with meal planning again, I try to narrow down what I actually love eating. I found out, I love eating fish, bread , vegs and fruits. I can eat these all day. There are many recipes in foodies bee hive which helps me with my meal planning. Though, I would definitely opt for something with low carb and low seasoned.
The other day, I cooked tuna seared. Today, I am using seabass which is more firm than tuna. I also like the mild taste of it. I suppose, It's going to be my most favorite. Tomorrow, my plan is to make Tilapia fish though not sure if I can sear that fish since the texture is not as firm as tuna and seabass.

Tilapia, we like deep fried 🤭 or steam. Nothing in between 😁
I will try the steam tilapia today! thanks for this idea :D nothing deep fried since I try to eat healthier.
Great. Don't forget to dice some ginger on top of the fish in the process of steaming. Also, get a fork and try to like the fish after 15 minutes. The resistance of the poking through the flesh gives you an idea how well the fish done. Chinese style goes really well with soy sauce. Healthier style, squeeze some lemon juice and add some chili flakes and diced onion give some Thai style magic touch to it too. Ginger is a must though.
Won't forget about the ginger :D

What kind of fish is that with sesame seeds? Here in the UAE, because the fish is not expensive, we always buy the SALMON. Hot cook with vegetable soup! But for me, I eat without cooking! LOL, but with lemon or Calamansi (CITRUS)...
You're very lucky, I live away from the shore so fishes are slightly expensive. That fish was seabass. I just like to add sesame seeds / seaweed to my food for extra nutrition :D. Also, is it ok to eat fish without cooking it first? I don't think I'd eat them regularly. I love sushis though, they're kind of an exception.
Yeah! SUSHI!!! Love it... Japanese style! ( ^_^ )
So everything singed like this, it looks very delicious. I love to eat fish <3. Greetings @macchiata
What kind of fish do you like to eat?
Mouthwatering.. I don't know when was the last time I had sea bass.
After leaving home I kinda moved away from the seafood. But after coming to Mumbai I developed a taste for the pompfret. Lovely fish. Good for pan searing.
You must try it. 👍
