lol I tried bitter gourd. It's not something rare, there are all kinds of meals with bitter gourd here. But never tried it with mustard raw, doesn't seem that bad.

Eating both at the same time is meh and torture for the sake of torture. These flavors are strong and best appreciated on their own dish with other foods that complement. I've only learned to love mustard after it was the only option left in the fridge. Just add salt and vinegar and pretend it's spicy lettuce.

If you ever experience Covid, you would appreciate lemons and apples even when you can't smell them. They still got a distinct flavor left.
