Today my body condition is not fit, So I decided to buy this food. This food is very familiar and you can say this is street food.
This is a typical Indonesian food, especially from the island of Java. There are many kinds of this type of soup. Depending on each region, there is such a thing as soto kuning, soto ayam and soto babad and so on.
This time I introduce chicken soto. The contents in it are chicken, cabbage, vermicelli, eggs, and soto sauce, as a complement
As a complement, you can add lime juice and chili sauce and sweet soy sauce.
Soto was first known on the northern coast of Java in the 19th century AD, as a soupy dish with pieces of meat or offal.
Soto began to be known by the Indonesian people because of immigrants from China.
At first, the dish of soto used pork according to the dish made by Chinese people. In fact, in the past, this typical Indonesian food was sold on a cart or pole. This dish is gradually growing and the meat is replaced with chicken, beef, duck, or buffalo.
This dish is usually served with warm rice.
