Do you love matcha? Or are you the team that can't stand this flavor? I'm somewhere in the middle. The scent of matcha itself can give a sense of calm, if it's to eat or drink pure matcha I don't think I'm too capable.
This time I visited one of the cafes where the main menu is all matcha-themed, called Nendō Matcha & Specialty coffee. This place is located at Jl. Mengkara No.21, Petisah Tengah, Kec. Medan Petisah.
The place is very pretty, The interiors are very attractive and minimalist, creating a warm impression. It uses earth tone colors. The barista is also unique, wearing a lab coat so it adds more impression.
I ordered Haru Matcha and Nami, Matcha Red Bean cake.
This matcha day is creamier so it's still safe on the tongue. For the Matcha Red Bean Cake, it tastes sweet with a blend of Red Bean and cream on top.
The place is also Instagramable. Indeed, in terms of price, it is also quite pricey, the total price of the menu I ordered was 104,500 rupiah including 10% tax.
This place is suitable as a place to work while having coffee because of its calm atmosphere. The service is also very good, they do not hesitate to ask if the water provided wants to be refilled or not if they see our glass is empty.
