New in town! I tumbled upon a café called Indus flavour and found it to be the best in the area so far. The food and ambience was amazing. The most attractive part was the quality of food and the menu being under budget.
It was a pure vegetarian restaurant with amazing service and ambience.
Starting our lunch with the starters on the house that includes the mango tangy juice shots and cold pop corns.
These free of cost starters were not that fulfilling but were great in taste and presentation. The usage of nitrogen in them made a great Smokey look considering they were super cold and delicious.
I assume since they were new in the market and free starters with such interesting presentation was the way to please the customers. We started our lunch by ordering some new fusion dishes from the menu, The first one was large spicy dish called 'tangy papad" It is basically a thin crusty layer with few veggies and sauces on the top.
It was delicious but too much spicy, Considering north Indians loves spicy food it was okaish on spicy level but any other person from west or other countries might find this one a bit too spicy.
This was a great start wand we found ourselves enjoying this dish as this was unique in style and not normally served. The next thing we ordered were few shakes and a Indian fusion of taco.
This was our main dish, It was soft fluffy taco filled with soya and garnished with onions.
The dish is not commonly found. The soya is pure veg.
The soya dish is purely Indian style where few veggies and butter are thrown in a pan and then cooked well and chunks of soya chap is tossed in the gravy of veggies and butter. Then the orangish red colour appears. This gravy dish is usually consumed with chapati. but here they made a fluffy soft taco and filled them with the soya gravy and this fusion was born.
It wasn't expensive at all. but was totally fulfilling and the taste was lip smacking.
I loved the chopped onion and coriander garnishing on the top of fusion taco. It was delicious.
I would like to give a solid 'A' on the quality, quantity and presentation of the food.
The ambience was amazing as well.
This customised wall paper defining the famous eatery of Delhi was all over the walls of the cafe. This is the picture of the foyer area and the style continues throughout the place.
It was such a wonderful experience over Indus Flavour.
The lane was quite lit and I had a lot of fun.
I had great fun , This lane is called 32nd bulliard which was amazing to roam around and I would make a publication out of this special space soon, by then lemme know what amazing new cafe you have explored in your city yet?
