Greetings of the day Foodies Bee Hive!
Do you like Raviolis!? What's your favorite fillings!?
It is after such a long time I ate some delicious Raviolis today for my dinner!
Earlier today, while making my usual shopping at the nearby supermarket, I found these lovely and fresh Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Raviolis.
Knowing the brand and having already worked with the company distributing the pasta, back when I was in the hotel industry...they always deliver amazing/quality pastas!
So without hesitation, I bought 2 packs and brought back home for our dinner tonight!
Let me show you how we prepared it at home...hope you enjoy it!
Are you ready to get hungry!???
My daughter's plate of raviolis...she loved it so much after being hesitant though!!!
Simple ingredients to make such a delicious dish...
And easy to make too!!!
We used only the below :
- Prawns / Mussels
- Tomato - fresh and little sauce too
- Onion / Garlic
- Mushrooms
- Salt / Pepper / Basil
- Fresh Cooking Cream
- Butter and Olive Oil
And of course...the famous pasta!
I was amazed with the quality...coming so far from Italy!!!
Make the sauce while water is boiling for cooking the raviolis...
In a cooking pan, add oil and sauteed the onion, garlic together with prawns and mussels...
Next add in the fresh tomato and basil, season with salt and pepper and let cook for couple of minutes!
Add the fresh mushrooms...
And once you see the mushrooms softened, add in the tomato sauce and let cook until a nice consistency.
Cook the raviolis in a salted boiling water!
They cook very rapidly and less than 2 minutes they already grew bigger and formed very nice looking raviolis!
Once the raviolis are cooked, add some fresh cooking cream to the seafood sauce and put in the cooked raviolis...
Add butter and more olive oil...
Toss them well until the raviolis are well coated with that creamy and delicious sauce!
Check the final seasoning...
Add more salt/pepper if needed, but taste first!
By the way, we did not add any cheese in this dish as we already had Mozzarella inside and we wanted it without parmesan, pecorino or cheddar!
It was already looking super yummy without the cheese...
Plated for my daughter first!
At first she was hesitant...it was her first time discovering raviolis!
And she loved it in the end...finally she had 2 plates like the below photo!
My daughter Rheem eating her raviolis and my mum is just next to her on our diner table!
Want a bite!???..
I will definitely buy more of these and also try the other varieties like the mushroom tortellini some other day!
It is always best to prepare them at home, but with my work schedule, it is impossible doing them myself! And now that I am happy with the brand, for sure we will be having pastas more often at home!
Thanks for reaching up to here and wish you a wonderful day/evening ahead!
Until some other time/post!
Best Regards!

Please do try it and let us know the result my friend. Actually you can use the same sauce for many different pastas...like penne, macaroni, spaghetti, linguini, tortellini etc...
Just have fun cooking!
