Today I have made a very special recipe that is a perfect weekends dinner recipe. This is one thing that is favourite of all the ages, everyone in my family loves the dish especially with white rice it tastes amazing. Well if the following pic can do justice just try and imagine to smell the aroma it makes.

Chicken Curry.

The dish is made with exorbidant tomatoes and onions based sauce, and individual flavours of ginger, garlic, peppers, turmeric, cardomom and other whole ground flavours. The dish is basically originated in Indian sub-continent, but it is also a common in South east Asia and caribbean. The dish is made in different styles in different areas. Today I will be showing the detailed recipe of how it is made in India. So without further wait let us see how it is made.

Ingredients

  • Chicken - Half Kg

  • Chopped Onions - 2

  • Tomato - 4
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic Cloves - 12

  • Raw Spices - Black pepper, cloves, Cinnamo and bay leaf.

  • Regular spices - Salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.

Here is the Process

  • Take a pressure cooker and heat the oil. Add 1 tbsp cumin seeds to the cooker and roast it for 30 seconds.

  • Now add raw spices and chopped onion to the cooker and cook until it changes its color.

  • Time to add tomato puree to the cooker and cook until it seperates the oil.

  • Now add regular spices to the masala.

  • Roast the spices for a minute then add chicken to the masala and mix it well.

  • Cook the chicken with masala for 3 minutes on high flame and then add one glass of water.

  • Close the lid of the pressure cooker and wait for 1 whistle.
