Although we Bangladeshis have a lot of similarities in our cuisine but still sometimes we crave pure Indian meals. Fortunately, there's an authentic Indian restaurant nearby. This weekend we decided to have our dinner there.
Let me share the experience with you.
This restaurant is one of the popular Indian eateries in my town. They have Indian chefs who serve different authentic menus. Indian Spicy has a few branches in Dhaka, we went to the Mohammadpur branch. They got a kid play corner there, that was the major reason for us.
From the window
The place was neat and clean. There were not many customers s at that time, probably because of the rain.
The menu is of full different food options. There were so many varieties, it was hard to choose what we would love to eat.
To be honest, the price range is a bit high compared to other similar places. I was not sure if it would be worth it. But when the food arrived, my confusion was gone.
We ordered one Chole bhature platter and one fried rice with chicken fry platter. It costs us around $10 with soda and extra curry. Yes, it sounds cheap but not in our currency.
Look at the size of the bhature/puri. The Chole bhature platter was full of different curries and chutneys. Made my day!
Also, the fried rice and the chicken fry platter were pretty good. Especially, the chicken fry was perfect.
The portion of the food, the taste, and the environment everything was good. And we were very satisfied having the meal there.
The kid's corner was not huge but enough to keep the kids busy for a while so the parents could have the meal peacefully.
The server was pretty hospitable, unlike many other local restaurants.
We loved the experience. I would highly recommend it if anyone is looking for authentic Indian cuisine.
The foods are tempting. I'm pretty sure these are all yummy based on their appearance. How I wish I can taste your foods someday.
