Having a Foodie at Troubadour - London, Earls Court!

in Foodies Bee Hive4 years ago

Hey Hivers,
Today I am reporting on my week in London - During a convention I also visited several restaurants in London, however one restaurant stands out, the Troubadour at Earls Court , London! How it tastes and what my experience is, I share here today:

We each ordered an omelette, which, garnished with some lettuce and a sweet/sour sauce, was a treat for the mouth. Filled with fresh cheese and ham and finely prepared, the omelet was a daily starter for our week in London.

On the first day we went for a coffee or two along Earls Court and found a great bar/restaurant called Troubadour. Decorated with guitars, rock n roll flair, the location was directly sympathetic to me.

In the evening after work, of course, we went to the Troubadour again and looked at the menu. The first thing we did was to have a platter of various cheeses and sausages brought to us. Refined with crackers and the finest beer, this starter was a super prelude to a delicious evening.

That evening there was a lot going on in the restaurant and we ordered various dishes - I opted for a classic burger. This was served with fries - reduced to the essential - the BURGER.

The burger was studded with delicious cheese, the finest onions and a mustard-like sauce. Since I am a burger lover and appreciate them this gem is a tasty treat. Of course, a beer should not be missing next to the burger. Quite a lot of it was consumed that evening ;-)

After we all digested our food, we treated ourselves to a small chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

In addition to the rocking ambiance throughout, the restaurant's décor was trimmed for old and reflected a classic English bar.

Final Words

The ambience as a quaint English bar of course reflects the flair of London. The beer in the restaurant is very tasty and the selection is really large.Since I always like to be in London (maybe I meet @nathanmars next time ;-)) I certainly recommend this restaurant - from breakfast to dessert everything was right and priced the dishes were within reason.

So if you are ever in London, visit the Troubadour at Earls Court.
It is worth a trip!

The burger and fries looks top notch! Was it a grilled bun?
