Potatoe chips are thin slices of potato that has been either deep fried or baked until crunchy. It originates from United Kingdom in 1817.

According to potatopro.com, The global potato chip market generated total revenue of US$16.49 billion in 2005. This accounted for 35.5% of the total savory snacks market in that year ($46.1 billion).

As a means of livelihood, my sister fried some potatoe chips for sale.

The process of making potatoe chips is as follow:

Raw potatoes purchased from the market to be peeled.

Then, salt and grinded-pepper are added to the sliced potatoes to make the chips spicy.

Thereafter, you pour the groundnut oil in your frying pan and place it on the coal-pot or whatever means of cooking being used for 2minutes. Afterwhich, the sliced and spiced potatoes are poured into the already heated groundnut oil. Then, fry.
