The name of kheer makes one's mouth water. Kheer is often made on festivals and happy occasions in India. I too made kheer on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. It is a popular dessert or homemade sweet in every household and the taste of eating it cold is different.
ingredients
Milk - 1 kg full cream
Basmati rice - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Saffron - a few strands
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Dry fruit - as per your choice
Method :-
First of all, wash the rice thoroughly with water and soak it in water for 1/2 hour.
