A Food Safari -FFF-

The Food Safari

It’s been a while since I’ve done a #foodfightfriday entry, and to be honest I don’t really have much “on my plate” (see what I did there) this week.

For various reasons I haven’t had much reason to be in the kitchen and cook for myself. I’d been challenged to bake my own scones, but I have absolutely no idea where to even begin or what
I’d need to buy. Cake tins? Baking tray? Let alone the ingredients...

It’s something I should look into at some point.

Anyway, rather than post something mediocre based on a single meal, I thought I would combine
several meals into the one post.

My first destination along the food safari, was an Asian restaurant called:

Jumbo Cuisine

One of my favourite entrees the Thai Chicken Chop. High in fat, but incredibly delicious.

I know this not the best angle to show how much food is here, but they pile it up. Portion control
must be a foreign concept it seems, and I’m not complaining!

img_7592.jpgThat’s not dandruff, honest! It’s a Star Wars shirt.

A food safari wouldn’t be complete without a visit to my favourite Vietnamese Restaurant, the...

Pho Linh

Another cool entree are the satay chicken skewers.

A personal favourite entree, and one that has appeared here numerous times is chicken and
corn soup.

As for main meals, there’s a wide range of choices, but usually a variation of the same theme.

For a change of pace, the next stage on this food safari is a visit to the

Waterloo Chicken Shop

I can’t go past a Beef Schnitzel Hot Pack.

This photo might not be the best to capture this meal’s majestic appearance, but it looked incredible when I first opened the box. My hands were full and I had to wait until I got home to photograph
it.

Peas, carrots, gravy and chips are buried under this meal. In fairness, it could feed three
people... It is more food than meets the eyes.

Anyway, that’s all from me today.
Thanks for reading.

See you in the kitchen!

Thank you. That’s awesome.

Quick question: When does the verification badge show up on https://hivebuzz.me/@shaidon?

It should show up soon. @guiltyparties sort them out now I think.
