Last Saturday, we had a morning appointment with the vet for Rainy's grooming session (showering, cutting nails, shaving paw hair, etc). So that day, we had planned to wait for Rainy's grooming session (about 3 - 3,5 hours) while having breakfast at a cafe near the vet clinic. We also brought our own laptops so we could work there.
In the mall nearby, we passed J.Co Coffee, which serves donuts and coffee as its main menu. We looked through the menu displayed in front of the door, and we decided to enter the cafe.
The Interior
The room is dominated by wood, brown tones, and black accents. The chairs and sofas are all brown, looked natural and warm. The large barista table and the ceiling show a wood texture, with exposed brick on one side.
There is not much wall decoration because the two sides of the cafe wall are made of glass. Natural light enters the cafe, and customers can also enjoy the view outside. The dining areas are located in front of the cafe (still inside the mall), indoor, and outdoor.
We chose a seat on the inside near the window so we could see the view outside. Even though we brought a laptop, we didn't look for a place with a power outlet. We believe that our laptop battery was good for 3–4 hours until we got news from the vet to pick up our cat.
Food & Beverage
We both ordered sausage stuffed donut sandwiches. It's shaped like a burger, but the part of the bun tastes like a donut with a soft texture. The inside is filled with sausage, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and chili sauce. We love the taste but the sausage was too light.
For drinks, my husband ordered a large hot cafe latte, while I ordered an iced chocoforest (black forest chocolate) in medium size. I like the taste of my drink; it's thick and not too sweet. But eventually, the sweet taste returns when it's almost finished, and I wasn't able to finish it.
We also got a bonus of two donuts glazed with sugar. I gave mine to my husband because it's too sweet.
We rarely go out to eat in restaurants or cafes. So that morning, we really enjoyed the cafe's atmosphere. Even though we were working on something with our laptops, we felt quite refreshed.
We had only been at the cafe for about an hour when I received a video and text message from the vet clinic about Rainy's grooming session. We quickly packed our things and left the cafe, then headed to the clinic as soon as possible.

J.co coffee shop is kind of great place to enjoy coffee I think it really a good place for people to do their work as the atmosphere is quite and clean.
Absolutely. For me, the vibe is more "down to earth" than the other well known coffee shop.
