I love chocolate anything, and who doesn't?

I can always have a treat that feels indulgent but comes without a side of regret! It is a guilt-free treat, with a moist, tender crumb and chocolatey goodness.

Chocolate Oatmeal Banana Bread

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly grease a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper. I crumpled the paper for ease of putting it in the loaf pan.
Mash bananas with a fork on a plate.

In a bowl, measure the dry ingredients on a strainer:

1 cup oat flour 3/4 cup almond flour 1/2 cup protein powder 1 teaspoon each of baking powder and baking soda 1/2/teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 cup cocoa powder

I used a sheet of parchment paper. Mix the dry ingredients while sifting.

In another bowl, with mixer (I just used a wire whisk-for ease) cream together the eggs, 1/3 cup honey, 3 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Add 1/4 cup yogurt and mix well.

Mix in the mashed bananas.

Gently mix in the flour mixture.

Then add some chocolate chips.

Pour the chocolate oatmeal batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Top with oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let it cool completely, and refrigerate before slicing (if you can resist it!)

Basic Banana loaf is already a favorite in my home, using almond flour gives us a slightly different texture but fantastic Gluten-free healthy alternative for those with a sensitive tunny than white flour (and I do have it in my pantry). I got 72% Cocoa chips, just as good! Now if I could borrow some of my Son's protein drink mix.
