My Go-to Braised Mixed Vegetables with Shrimps

The right combination of vegetables is not only appealing...

... but gives a variety of textures and flavors that enhance each other

... and raise the level of the dish.

It is a nutrition powerhouse!

Vegetables may be braised all by themselves for a deep, rich flavor¹

I added a little bit of salt and some seasoning to the vegetables...

... followed by the shrimps.

Then I added 1 whole deveined and seeded jalapeno.

Next, came the bell peppers, green and yellow.

Cabbage slices...

And mushrooms.

Ground black pepper.

Toss the vegetable gently while cooking until it is done!

This dish can be eaten by itself.

It is a wonderful non-meat dish.
I had chicken, which I air-fried. I felt that I needed more protein than what the shrimps provided.

Serve.

Vegetables offer vitamins, minerals, and necessary nutrients. Eating vegetables regularly and adding them to our diets can only be good for our bodies.

This reminds me of a breakfast I had a few days back, raw mixed vegetables(little seasoning) with oyster. Apart from having to chew intentionally, it felt great on the body. Will try out braising the mixed vegetables next time around :)
