Pork Liver Steak : Nutritious meal during this Rainy Days

Anyone would agree that hot soup during rainy days would be a perfect match especially when we stay at home.

As I observed, this week it rains often here in our place and even so, I am still thankful because rains help the farmers to water their plants, and our plants at school as well.

There are many good things or advantages when it rains because there are some places that lack of water supply and only when it rains they could save water for washing, washing clothes and cleaning the house.

That's why we should not be irritated when it rains but instead be happy and enjoy it because it is a blessing from God.

So this rainy day, I prepared a dish/viand that was perfectly matched to cold weather. The dish that both children and grown-ups would love to eat.

What is it?

Pork Liver Steak is a dish that is yummy and savory. This is made from the liver of the pork mixed with veggies that is nutritious and good for the body.

What to prepare?

These are the ingredients that you need to prepare. Simple ingredients were available in our kitchen aside from the pork liver that we bought in the market early in the morning.

1/2 kilo of Pork Liver
1 medium size of Potato
1 medium size of Carrot
3 cloves of Garlic
Cooking oil
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of salt to taste
2 to 3 tablespoons of Cornstarch

*** How to Prepare?***

These were the procedures on how to prepare this dish. Just follow the steps.

Step 1. Prepare the materials needed especially the spices. Wash them first.

Step 2. Slice the potato, carrots, and the garlic.

Step 3. Prepare the casserole to be used and set the fire to medium heat.

Step 4. When the casserole is already dry add the cooking oil and put the sliced garlic.

Step 5. Add the Pork liver and stir. Simmer until it turns to color gray.

Step 6. Add the sliced potato and carrots to the fried pork liver.

Step 7. Mixed all the ingredients thoroughly and add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.

Step 8. Add 2 to 3 cups of water and let it boil.

Step 9. Let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes and after, get cornstarch and put it in a small bowl, and dissolve it in water. Mixed it thoroughly to avoid the uneven appearance of the cornstarch.

Step 10. Check if the soup started to get sticky. Use the ladle and it would be nice if the soup is a little bit sticky.

Step 11. Add ground black paper ( optional ) and add the salt to taste.

Step 12. Simmer until the meat is cooked and softened. Wait for 20 to 30 minutes. Depending on your desire how it is cooked, if you want the pork meat a little bit hard or tender.

This is now our Pork Liver Steak! Yummy and Nutritious dish! Good for the body because it is yummy and healthy. Your family will be Happy!
