We cook and slice the turkeys, to speed up the serving. We heat the slices in turkey gravy on location so they are hot. That let's us make the fixings the day before, so the meal is right. We plan 10 turkeys this year....

One of our regular homeless was guiding a newbie through the line. He told the newbie to try everything because it was like eating at a restaurant, and he can come back through for what he likes! That was encouraging....

Really encouraging but the most important part of it is that they feel really happy and homely
And that they get one Good hot meal a month! It's good to see them full too.
