Lemon Bars

Hi Hi Awesome Peeps!

When life gives you lemon, what do you make out of it? Lemonade? Lemon tarts? Lemon bars?

Same here!

Love lemon bars a.k.a lemon squares 😋😋😋😋 So am sharing you a lemon bars recipe 😉

If you like baking with almond flour, this is the recipe for you. Love coconut? Give this recipe a try. Hemp hearts in lemon bars? Well look no more, check out my recipe 😜

Crust:
1 c flour
1/2 c almond flour
1/4 c sugar
A pinch of salt
100 g butter (the more the merrier! - think shortbread, droooolllsss 😋😋😋😋)

2nd Layer:
1 lemon
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1/2 c unsweetened desiccated coconut
1/4 c almond flour
1/4 c hemp hearts
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp skim milk powder
1/2 tsp BP

Icing:
1 1/2 c icing sugar
2 tbsp butter
4 tbsp lemon juice
