How to prepare Yam porridge by @uclog (100% powered up)

Hello Foodie beehives, I am happy to be part of this wonderful community and to post my first food content. The post below is a step-by-step preparation of yam porridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 tuber of yam
  • Pumpkin leaves
  • Palm oil
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Seasoning cubes
  • Crayfish

Steps for Preparation

  • First cut your yams and peel them. Cut them preferably into small pieces for it to cook fast. Pick your vegetables and slice onions and tomatoes.

  • After peeling off the back, put them in a bowl and wash before putting the yam in a pot.

  • Pour two(2) cups of water to be above the yam level in the pot depending on your cup measurements, then put your pot to boil. When the water in the pot boils, add your , salt, seasoning cubes, crayfish, peppers and cover your pot.

  • When your content boils, add the palm oil and allow the liquid to mix well with your yam.

  • Add the sliced onions and tomatoes and vegetables.

  • Stir together all your content in the pot to mix well and after some minutes bring down your pot. Serve hot or cold.

  • Your meal is ready to for consumption

I haven't tasted porridge with vegetable before but seeing this meal, I should give it a try soon. I love eating porridge and most times,I use beans and yam.

Your recipe looks pretty was but cooking it and making it taste good isn't, lol.
