I have been to this one before but now we even live just across the street from this place, a hidden gem tucked away in Santhitam - Hot Hot Hot! As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in for a spicy treat.
Love the naked chicken wings. It's just the way they do it here just fyi in case you're one of those who love the tossed version. Well, I'm used to the tossed ones as well but after I had tried this, lemme tell you! The wings cooked to crispy perfection on the outside, but tender and juicy on the inside. Then, dip it in the sauces! From mild to super spicy, there was something for everyone. I personally loved the mango habanero, while Kevin couldn't get enough of the buffalo sauce.
But Hot Hot Hot isn't just about the wings. They've got an impressive selection of craft beers, including root beer, my fav pop but it's a rarity in any restaurants in Thailand. And the owners, a Thai wife and her farang hubby, were as friendly and helpful as can be. We chatted with her for a while, and even got some insider tips on where to open a cannabis dispensary (apparently there's a spot nearby that's worth checking out).
Everything at Hot Hot Hot is made in-house, and it definitely shows in the quality of the food. And if you're on a keto diet, you'll be happy to know that these wings are friendly to your lifestyle.
The fries were also a hit, and perfectly complemented the wings. And if you're feeling adventurous, they've got a hot wing challenge where you have to eat a whole bucket of Carolina pepper wings and wait 3 minutes before drinking water. If you can handle the heat, your photo gets hung on the wall as a badge of honor. Personally, I'd be more motivated if there was a free t-shirt involved #lol
Hot Hot Hot is a must-visit for any wings or spice lover in Chiang Mai. The wings are unparalleled, the sauces are fantastic, and the owners are super friendly. I'm planning to visit at least once a month myself :)
