
So, after preparing tacos 🌮 the other day, I had half a pound of minced meat left over to play with.
Luckily, I also had a lot of veggies, I got to diving: celery, onions, peppers and carrots.

Next step was to sauté the veggie mix, over medium heat, in a little olive oil.

When the veggies began softening & turning translucent, I added my thawed meat.

Then, I mixed it in well with the veggies & continued to warm it up. Typically, I drain the fat from the minced meat (so, as not to clog my arteries) but this batch had little fat …

Lastly, I add my tomato sauce 🥫the missus likes it spices, so I use Arabiata, and let it simmer.

My Italian pasta takes all of 9 minutes to cook. I drain it, add virgin olive oil (so it does not stick) & top it with the delicious meat sauce I prepared.

And, what’s bolognese without a little sprinkled cheese on top (& a small green salad on the side 🥗 )?
