Eating spicy noodles in the middle of the night has always been a tantalizing experience. Especially when the night has blanketed the city and the hustle and bustle starts to fade, spicy noodles become even more tempting. One of my favorite destinations to visit after returning from work in the middle of the night is Mie Gacoan.
On a quiet night, a colleague invited me to stop by Mie Gacoan. Without hesitation, I agreed to indulge in the spicy noodle goodness at this place. Upon arrival, the restaurant was still bustling with some customers enjoying their late-night meals. Despite the late hour, Mie Gacoan remains open and ready to serve customers into the wee hours.
Without wasting any time, we ordered the level 3 spicy sweet Mie Gacoan. Since both of us enjoy fried dumplings, we also ordered an extra serving of fried dumplings as a side dish. For drinks, I opted for a warm and refreshing vanilla latte.
As we waited for our order, we patiently enjoyed the warm and cozy ambiance of the restaurant. Before long, our Mie Gacoan and fried dumplings arrived at our table. Upon tasting the noodles, the spicy sweet flavor immediately tantalized our taste buds. The combination of the spicy and sweet sauce of the Mie Gacoan was spot on, and the chewy texture of the noodles added to the pleasure of chewing.
The crispy and savory fried dumplings also served as a perfect complement to the Mie Gacoan. While enjoying the noodles and dumplings, I also savored the creamy vanilla latte that had just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness.
