The idea is to always have some salty content to write about. Whilst as yet we can't offer rewards, @riverflows may give the best ones a tip each week, if she has the time and isn't swept out to see by a rip.

I just want to say - thank you for creating this community! I'll definitely enter one of the challenges at some moment - I am sure I have some sea photos in my archive which wasn't published on Hive.
You're welcome - we'd love to see some posts, even if it's not in the challenge.
Thank you! You should probably also mention that people can add the worldmapping code to their ocean posts - many people post most of their travel-related posts in WorldMappin, hoping to get big ups for listing in WM's travel digest. But actually you can post in any community - the only requirement for a chance to be mentioned in the WM digest is the worldmapping code. I never read an official statement about that, but I experienced that myself many times.
That is true, and I'll make sure to remind people of that! Great thoughts.
