Hello everyone! it's me again @dehai. Today I would like to share the new guidelines, policies, or process for applying for a teacher in both junior and senior high schools in our division. Almost 35 percent of their scores came from classroom observation. They are going to conduct a class to a specific grade level they want to demonstrate. So they must be in the real classroom setting. The observers are the school heads and the master teachers. For this school year, the observer from our district will conduct their class observation in other districts while other districts will conduct their observation in another district too. So for our District, Tabogon we conducted Class Observation in Daanbantayan District while the observers from Daanbantayan conducted it in our District. As instructed by my school head, I am one of the class observers who will replace some school heads who are not available on the scheduled date. So I went to the district where we are assigned or the school in particular where the demonstration takes place the Daanbantayan National High School (DNHS). I arrived at the venue at almost 8:10. I was late for a few minutes. When I was at the school I looked for the principal's office named the admin office. Some of my co-observers who were school heads and the master teachers of other schools were already there. They happily took their morning coffee with bread and rice malagkit or puto with mango. I also tasted their puto or malagkit and it tasted good. I liked it, so I ate almost 2 pcs. makes me full even if I had my breakfast at home. Meanwhile, we started the COT, We chose to conduct our COT on the senior high school applicants. There were 9 applicants. We finished conducting observation of the five applicants in the morning and then the other 4 applicants in the afternoon. All applicants did their teaching well and I'm sure they were all effective and efficient teachers when they were in the field of real teaching.
Accommodation
We are so thankful to DNHS teachers for having an excellent accommodation. We were always full since they served a lot of snacks and served us nutritious and delicious meals during lunch. We enjoyed and felt comfortable in our stay there and had a wonderful time with them. Thankful for the opportunity that God has given to me. I consider this as new learnings and new experiences that someday, I can also share my learnings to others and I can help the applicants too and to the future applicants.
To the applicants my warmest congratulations to all of them. Hope to see them in the Registry of Qualified Applicants who passed the application and become part of the DepEd family in the coming years.
