Dude! It is hard to believe you guys! You never feel ethically guilty about doing any of these nonsense. It is amazing!
You know recently Wolf called me up for a conversation and advice, and I told him, it is crazy easy to make a small amount of pocket change at hive, and people, especially with developer background does that without thinking about any consequences!
You know what you are doing is incorrect and you still do it, what for 100 hive? 1000 hive? Will you ever be rich doing this shit?
No i will not get rich on it, but i liked actually to do the riddles. I also did not drain out HIVE at all or made any money ... I got it that you do not like it, but the account was running quite a while and since there was no mention on it i just kept it running as it was and i already got used to it.
And there is no other account i post anything on hive not one and not zillions.
Feeling ethically guilty is a bit harsh - there were people that really liked this riddles and interaction. Yes it was template based (but still manual posts) and it is not utterly nonsense.
There won't be any posts like this from any of my accounts anymore.
And i am also not you guys. I am honest with my answer.
It's considered a low effort farm, just cause hive isn't worth a lot atm you were making around 15 hive per post while giving away 1 and funneling it all to this account.
Sure generating pics may take a bit of effort but I'm sure there's a lot of accounts creating original content earning less. Part of the fault is also on the autovoters/vote sellers like you have on this account as well.
Sure i got your points. But to be honest if you take a deeper look the rewards are not fair and based on quality. It has influence, but it is not a major factor. Also i had to do a bit more than just to generate an image. Giving hints to all participants. Choosing a city which was never used yet etc. Of course it is not comparable with a whole Story Telling post, but it still takes more time than it pays out in hive :).
As i already wrote before i will refrain from doing anything like this further. But i am not the problem if at all a symptom.
The fact that the account was running for a long time IS THE PROBLEM. This is well after I caught and stopped your previous farm! These are actions. It is not that subconsciously you were running multiple farming accounts and “did not know”!
Anyhow, another day another dollar! What people wouldn’t do here for a “few dollars more”!
First to clarify, this was not after you stopped my splinterlands raffles.
Both accounts were running in parallel with a different topic. Also i understood that you stopped the raffles cause you do not want that cards for free were spread and resulting in lowering the price. so again different topic.
Secondly this was just for fun and not money, It would be quite stupid to invest
the same time where i could earn the 10x-20x amount.
You know that the easiest way for me would have been to just not respond at all. But as i said i want to show you my honest opinion. Neither my main account nor this was to "make money" it was just for gambling and trying things out.
And of course i did not sell any token or take anything out of the ecosystem.
Is this ethical wrong - i do not know. What i know is that blockchains are usual never on the ethical side.
I got your positions on this - i also understand them and i will refrain from doing anything like this anymore.
