Erinnerungen an meine Mutter
Heute ist Muttertag, vor 3 Tagen war Vatertag. Meine beiden Eltern sind schon lange tot.
Mein Vater starb 2005, meine Mutter 2016.
Das Bild stammt aus dem Jahr 2013, sie war damals 91 Jahre alt.
Wir feierten eine Party anlässlich meiner Hochzeit mit meiner 2. Frau. Meine Mutter war gerne unter Leuten und sie genoss es auch, wenn sie bei unseren Geburtstagsfeiern dabei war. Wenn gescherzt wurde, gelacht und man den Abend und das Leben genießen konnte. Und bei einem Ramazotti sagte sie selten nein. 😉
Sie hatte kein leichtes Leben. War gerade 17 als der 2. Weltkrieg los ging. Die Ehe mit meinem Vater war für beide nicht einfach, es gab viele Unstimmigkeiten. Ich erinnere mich trotzdem an viele schöne Momente. Aber es gab auch 2, 3 Situationen, in denen sie mich sehr enttäuscht hat.
Ich selber habe 3 Kinder und inzwischen 3 Enkeltöchter. Auch ich habe meine Kinder sicher in manchen Situationen enttäuscht. Daher ist es wichtig, dass man sich vergeben kann. Am Wichtigsten ist es wohl, sich selber vergeben zu können für die Fehler und Unzulänglichkeiten die ein Leben mit sich bringen.
Es gibt ja in der heutigen Zeit einige Paare, die sich ganz bewusst gegen Kinder entscheiden. Dafür mag es gute Gründe geben. Für mich war das nie eine Frage, ich wollte Kinder haben. Und auch wenn es manchmal Stress bedeutet, auf das eine oder andere verzichten zu müssen, ich würde mich jederzeit wieder für Kinder entscheiden.
Jetzt wünsche ich allen Müttern noch einen angenehmen Muttertag.

Memories of my mother
Today is Mother's Day, 3 days ago was Father's Day. Both my parents have been dead for a long time.
My father died in 2005, my mother in 2016.
The picture is from 2013, when she was 91 years old.
We had a party for my wedding to my second wife. My mother loved being around people and she also enjoyed being at our birthday parties. When people joked, laughed and enjoyed the evening and life. And she rarely said no to a Ramazotti. 😉
She didn't have an easy life. Was just 17 when World War II started. The marriage with my father was not easy for both of them; there were many disagreements. I still remember many beautiful moments. But there were also two or three situations in which she really disappointed me.
I myself have 3 children and now 3 granddaughters. I too have certainly disappointed my children in some situations. Therefore, it is important to be able to forgive yourself. The most important thing is to be able to forgive yourself for the mistakes and shortcomings that come with life.
There are some couples these days who consciously decide against having children. There may be good reasons for this. For me it was never a question, I wanted to have children. And even if it sometimes means stress to have to do without one thing or another, I would choose to have children again at any time.
Now I wish all mothers a happy Mother's Day.
