Christian Streich, eine Trainer-Legende
Nun ist es raus, Christian Streich beendet seine Tätigkeit als Trainer beim SC Freiburg am Saisonende. Nach über 12 Jahren als Cheftrainer geht eine Ära zu Ende. Als Trainer war er eine Ikone, der immer wieder nicht nur durch seine Arbeit als auf dem Fußballplatz und an der Seitenlinie für Aufmerksamkeit sorgte, sondern auch so manches denkwürdige Interview gab. Seine Sprüche werden wohl noch lange Zeit immer wieder zitiert werden.
Für mich war und ist er einer der besten Trainer und zudem ein Mensch mit Charakter, der zwar sehr emotional werden kann, wenn es um Fußball geht. Aber bei aller Emotionalität immer versucht hat fair zu bleiben.
Zudem ist er auch ein Mensch mit Charakter, der auch zu aktuellen Themen ganz klar Stellung bezogen hat. Er war ein Vorbild für alt und jung.

Now it's out, Christian Streich will end his job as coach at SC Freiburg at the end of the season. After more than 12 years as head coach, an era is coming to an end. As a coach, he was an icon who not only attracted attention through his work on the football field and on the sidelines, but also gave many memorable interviews. His sayings will probably be quoted again and again for a long time.
For me he was and is one of the best coaches and also a person with character who can get very emotional when it comes to football. But despite all the emotionality, he always tried to remain fair.
He is also a person with character who has taken a clear stance on current issues. He was a role model for old and young.
