I think any context in which one person/entity owns all outlets of expression is dangerous af. I don't know that it's a case of miscalculating, on Netflix's part, more of 'who dares, wins'. I do believe they may be in a mindset that tells them they can actually own everything (and they might not be wrong).
Me, I think it's just the latest intallment in an ongong battle between the two sides growing more and more defined in our Western society.
