Yesterday, I finally got around to power up another 50 HIVE
however it does not really show the enthusiasm I have for Hive right now. "But you only post once a week maximum" Well, Hive has become so much more than just a place to blog to me. The social aspect is still front a center, I am chilling every day on the HiQ Discord. We have recently become Token Creators, it has been quite the adventure and I want to thank the HiQ Core Team - @quekery, @mary-me and @smooms - for letting me be part of it. I really like the productive work environment we have most of the time and I am very proud of the success our HIQS token had so far.
b--but what about Politics?
If you have followed my blog for some time you know that Politics has been one of my favorite topics to talk about. I also voiced my concern with political topics being less and less popular on Hive while the atmosphere has become a lot more hostile. The great thing is that the HiQ people are all Schwurblers like myself and love to talk politics every now and then. Especially the discussions with @quekery have been interesting since he has a lot more insight on the German political landscape while I am usually more focused on American politics.
If I feel the urge to talk more internationally about politics I can just go to the CEO Discord of @thegrandestine. Half of the time those people talk politics and you actually have a decent mix of mainstream people and Schwurblers on the server.
What the hell is a "Schwurbler"?!
Well, it is a modern term to describe conspiracy theorists in German. It is time for English to adapt a German word this time. It is pronounced "chwoorbler" and the word is so important because conspiracy theorist hints pretty clearly at a mental illness, namely schizophrenia, where you think everybody is plotting against you somehow. This is a wrong association though because at the core of conspiracy theories is that you don't just accept facts without second guessing them. A very important thing to do, also well known (but still somehow forgotten) in Germany as critical thinking.
There are different kinds of Schwurbler: Soft Schwurbler, Schwurbler and Hard Schwurbler.
The Soft Schwurbler has noticed something with our system is not right and maybe thinks our media seems somewhat biased to a degree. He has not gone the extra step to actually dive deep into alternative media, but he knows maybe one or two main stream conspiracies.
The Schwurbler is the guy that does not watch main stream media anymore unless he wants to rant about and discuss how it is all just Propaganda. It then differs in what you actually believe is true, but you are open to hear all arguments and theories without that wall in your brain that tells you to get mad because someone said something outlandish.
The Hard Schwurbler has found his (non-mainstream) truths and is now trying to propagate them by any means possible. It has become one or most likely THE main focus of his life and identity.
Schwurblers are tolerating Hard and Soft Schwurblers, but I would argue that Soft Schwurblers and Hard Schwurblers are already pretty unable to talk to each other. I would also argue that we normal Schwurblers have suffered a lot because we tolerate Hard Schwurblers and the mainstream media of course always points at the most extreme cases when talking about us. However from a fundamental standpoint (free speech) we can and should not exile Hard Schwurblers.
Schwurbeln can also generally mean "to talk about something excessively" which is why I really like the word. It entails the very essence of what it is all about: exchanging ideas and proofing/disproofing theories according to your own logic and truths.
What does this all have to with Hive?
Well, we all know Hive is a cesspool for Schwurbler, at least the Soft and normal ones, but this is not the reason I am bullish on HIVE. For the longest time on Steem and Hive I was salty because I saw no real innovation, a ton of development projects were funded, but I didn't feel like the blockchain was getting better in any significant way. Now that I discovered Hive-Engine with all it's possibilities for myself and Hive being a leader in Play2Earn Games (Splinterlands) I am very optimistic for our future.
The major thing that always appealed on Hive was that there is no financial or educational barrier of entry. Everybody can be a part of our blockchain and to be honest I am getting less and less interested in projects on other blockchains. Hive is the way

Der soziale Aspekt steht immer noch im Vordergrund, ich chille jeden Tag im HiQ Discord. Wir sind vor kurzem Token Creators geworden, es war ein ziemliches Abenteuer und ich möchte dem HiQ Kern Team - @quekery, @mary-me und @smooms - dafür danken, dass ich ein Teil davon sein durfte. Mir gefällt die produktive Arbeitsumgebung, die wir die meiste Zeit haben, sehr gut und ich bin sehr stolz auf den Erfolg, den unser HIQS Token bisher hatte.
Aber was ist mit der Politik?
Wenn Du meinen Blog seit einiger Zeit verfolgen, weißt du, dass Politik eines meiner Lieblingsthemen ist. Ich habe auch meine Besorgnis darüber geäußert, dass politische Themen auf Hive immer unbeliebter werden, während die Atmosphäre in der Rubrik viel feindseliger geworden ist. Das Gute ist, dass die HiQ-Leute alle Schwurbler sind wie ich und es lieben, ab und zu über Politik zu reden. Besonders die Diskussionen mit @quekery waren interessant, da er viel mehr Einblick in die deutsche politische Landschaft hat, während ich mich normalerweise mehr auf die amerikanische Politik konzentriere.
Wenn ich den Drang verspüre, mich international über Politik zu unterhalten, gehe ich einfach in den CEO Discord von @thegrandestine. Die Hälfte der Zeit reden diese Leute über Politik und man hat eine gute Mischung aus Mainstream-Leuten und Schwurblern auf dem Server.
Was zum Teufel ist ein "Schwurbler"?!
Nun, es ist ein moderner Begriff zur Beschreibung von Verschwörungstheoretikern im Deutschen. Es ist an der Zeit, dass das Englische diesmal ein deutsches Wort adaptiert. Es wird "chwoorbler" auf Englisch ausgesprochen und das Wort ist deshalb so wichtig, weil "conspiracy theorist" ziemlich deutlich auf eine Geisteskrankheit hinweist, nämlich Schizophrenie, bei der man glaubt, dass sich alle irgendwie gegen einen verschworen haben. Das ist aber eine falsche Assoziation, denn der Kern von Verschwörungstheorien ist, dass man Fakten nicht einfach akzeptiert, ohne sie zu hinterfragen. Eine sehr wichtige Sache, die in Deutschland auch als kritisches Denken bekannt ist (und doch irgendwie vergessen wurde).
Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Schwurblern: Soft Schwurbler, Schwurbler und Hard Schwurbler.
Der Soft Schwurbler hat gemerkt, dass mit unserem System etwas nicht stimmt und denkt vielleicht, dass unsere Medien ein wenig parteiisch erscheinen. Er ist nicht so weit gegangen, sich mit alternativen Medien zu befassen, aber er kennt vielleicht ein oder zwei Verschwörungen.
Der Schwurbler ist derjenige, der sich die Mainstream-Medien nicht mehr anschaut, es sei denn, er will darüber schimpfen und diskutieren, dass das alles nur Propaganda ist. Schwurbler können ganz verschiedene Sachen für wahr halten, es ist keine exakte Ideologie, aber er ist offen für alle Argumente und Theorien, ohne die Mauer in seinem Gehirn, die ihm sagt, dass er wütend werden muss, weil jemand ein ungewöhnliches Argument hat.
Der Hard Schwurbler hat seine (nicht-mainstream) Wahrheiten gefunden und versucht nun, sie mit allen Mitteln zu verbreiten. Es ist zu einem oder wahrscheinlich DEM Hauptpunkt seines Lebens und seiner Identität geworden.
Schwurbler tolerieren Hard und Soft Schwurbler, aber ich würde behaupten, dass Soft Schwurbler und Hard Schwurbler bereits ziemlich unfähig sind, miteinander zu reden. Ich würde auch argumentieren, dass wir normalen Schwurbler sehr gelitten haben, weil wir harte Schwurbler tolerieren und die Mainstream-Medien natürlich immer auf die extremsten Fälle hinweisen, wenn sie über uns sprechen. Aber vom grundsätzlichen Standpunkt aus (Meinungsfreiheit) können und sollten wir Hard Schwurbler nicht ausschließen.
Schwurbeln kann auch ganz allgemein "exzessiv über etwas reden" bedeuten, weshalb ich das Wort sehr mag. Es beinhaltet genau das, worum es geht: Ideen austauschen und Theorien gemäß der eigenen Logik und Wahrheiten zu beweisen oder entkräften.
Was hat das alles mit Hive zu tun?
Nun, wir alle wissen, dass Hive ein Sündenpfuhl für Schwurbler ist, zumindest für die Soft und normalen Schwurbler, aber das ist nicht der Grund, warum ich so bullish gegenüber HIVE bin. Die längste Zeit war ich von Steem und Hive genervt, weil ich keine wirkliche Innovation sah, eine Menge Entwicklungsprojekte wurden finanziert, aber ich hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass die Blockchain in irgendeiner Weise besser wurde. Jetzt, wo ich die Hive-Engine mit all ihren Möglichkeiten für mich entdeckt habe und Hive führend bei Play2Earn Games (Splinterlands) ist, bin ich sehr optimistisch für unsere Zukunft.
Was mich an Hive schon immer gereizt hat, war die Tatsache, dass es keine finanzielle oder bildungstechnische Einstiegshürde gibt. Jeder kann Teil unserer Blockchain sein und um ehrlich zu sein, interessiere ich mich immer weniger für Projekte auf anderen Blockchains. Hive ist der Weg

Ich hab bis vor nem halben Jahr eigentlich nichts damit gemacht, kann gut sein dass ich da vielleicht ein Spätzünder bin, war auch am Anfang skeptisch gegenüber 2nd Layer Geschichten. Die Diesel Pools in die ich hart reingefomot bin gibt es ja auch noch nicht allzu lange.
