Habe jetzt endlich eine gehypte Cinnamood Zimtrolle getestet. Schlange war heute Nachmittag gerade etwas kleiner und man ist in in circa 5-10 Minuten drangekommen.
Ich denke mittlerweile, dass die Schlange zum Marketing-Konzept gehört. Schon das Warten ist eine Experience und auch im Shop selbst, gibt es einen eigenen Experience-Raum mit Spiegeln.
Eine eckige "Next Level"-Zimtschnecke kostet 5,50 Euro, was schon ziemlich heftig ist.
Eine Basic-Schnecke ohne Topping kommt auf EUR 4,50.
Die Zimtschnecke war lecker, aber auch nicht viel anders als eine normale Schnecke, kann man mal machen, aber denke nicht, dass der Hype ewig andauern wird.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr Cinnamood schon gekannt? Würdet ihr 5,50 für eine Zimtschnecke ausgeben?

I have finally tested a hyped Cinnamood cinnamon roll in Vienna. The queue was a bit smaller this afternoon and it took about 5-10 minutes to get one.
I now think that the queue is part of the marketing concept. Even waiting is an experience and there is a separate experience room with mirrors in the store itself.
A square "Next Level" cinnamon roll costs 5.50 euros, which is pretty hefty.
A basic bun without topping costs EUR 4.50.
The cinnamon roll was tasty, but nothing too special compared to normal cinnamon rolls, therefore I don't think the hype will last forever.
What do you think? Have you already tried Cinnamood? Would you spend 5.50 for a cinnamon bun?

Bei mittlerer Qualität und mittlerer Größe würde ich nicht mal die Hälfte dafür zahlen. Aber man zahlt augenscheinlich für das Brimborium drumherum mit.

Und der Mensch, dem der Himmel manchmal zwar greifbar nah scheint, aber trotzdem weder den Horizont erreicht noch über Wolke 7 hinauskommt, rennt auf die Straße und reiht sich in die Schlange ein.
Koste es, was es wolle! Das Stück Himmel muss er haben.
Morgen kommt der nächste Messias und verkauft die Schnitte Hoffnung mit eingefärbtem Hagelzucker. Die nächste Schlange ist somit in Arbeit. Höchste Zeit, um über eine Rettungsgasse nachzudenken.😎🥐

I havent tried Cinnamood yet but judging from your photo, it looks tasty. I also love the aesthetic mirrors.
I don't like in Europe so i have never tried it but I don't think I would. I'd rather save up my money for something that I care more about.
Sometimes, we see the hype at the places where we cannot find any reason for it. The roll sounds pretty expensive. I won't buy it
Better to do it at home. Cheaper and richer.

Wer tritt denn diese Hypes überhaupt los? Puschen das influencer auf insta oder was? Während Corona gab es Hype um so einen Donut laden bei mir, der ist aber mittlerweile schon pleite. Denke Mal mit cinnamood wird es ähnlich sein, haben aber in Leipzig einen guten Spot direkt am Marktplatz, und ja es ist auch Schlange und nein, ich gehe da nicht hin. 2,00 für ein franzbrötchen sind mir schon zuviel.
Although I haven't tried the Cinnamood cinnamon roll, I find the concept of the experience room in the store interesting. The cost of 5.50 euros for a cinnamon roll seems high, especially if it doesn't offer a significant difference in taste compared to conventional cinnamon rolls.
Eventuell sind sie intelligenzsteigernd. Nachdem man eine gegessen hat, erkennt man, dass man sich hat verarschen lassen!
Ich wette, das Geschäft gibt es in einem Jahr nicht mehr!

Ist schon etwas teuer, und dann noch anstehen dafür. Nein Dake. Nächstes Problem bei mir ist dass ich gegen Zimt allergisch bin also kommt es sowieso nicht in Frage, Aber ich warte sehr ungerne in Schlangen somit würde ich auch auf eine andere Süßigkeit ohne Zimt nicht so lange anstehen.
That's awfully expensive for a cinnamon roll! Unless it's something leaps and bounds better than the standard cinnamon roll the hype will wear away.
Ist wahrscheinlich das gleiche wie in Düsseldorf. Geschmacklich fand ich die lecker (ich hatte „Apple“) und wenn die Bratwurst auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt 4,50 € kostet, dann sind 5,50 € dafür angemessen. Das Stück Torte kostet in Wien doch bestimmt genauso viel.
Meist sind Hype Produkte nicht besser als die, die man schon Standard mäßig hat. Aber des Engländers liebstes Hobbie (Schlange stehen) ist doch den Aufpreis wert. 😁
