Fester Schritt,
der Atem schwer,
der Körper bebt,
er will nicht mehr.
Doch Fuß vor Fuß,
die treibend‘ Kraft
das Herz, der Geist
die Hand am Schaft.
Mit Wahnsinn sucht,
ein Teil von mir,
die Seele
dieser edlen Kür.
Ich will ihm in die
Augen sehn.
Den Geist des Berges
Bei mir spürn‘.
Mit starker Hand
Den Gneis auftun.
Kristall der Welten,
darf nicht ruhn.
Sodann ich friedlich
Schlafen kann,
als mich der Geist
in seinem Bann.
Kristall der Welten
Öffne dich
Mein Wille ist
Dein Angesicht.
Nimm mich auf,
in den Basalt,
sodass mein Leib
mit dir wird alt.
