The core of this film has some good ideas, especially the main character's dreamy moments reminiscent of 1968, but as we get deeper into the story, it lacks the momentum to give us a more satisfying horror effect, as well as a sense of intrigue.
What really works is introducing us to a great lead actress who can shine divinely, like Julia Garner, who takes this step to prove what a great actress she becomes with every job.
In this case, her character encapsulates all the elegance, talent and charisma of the highest order. She makes the film her own and the film, in turn, works with the intensity that the actress brings to it.

The actress manages to convey this personal drama in a very convincing way, where you can bring out the depth and personality of the character that you have always connected with as a great strength.
When we reach the point that the film offers us, here we find the lowest point of the proposal, that is to say, we are left with only one scenario.
When it gets to the point of terror, it lacks the intensity needed to give us the iconic moments or the more interesting ones that help the film stand out more as an excellent horror film, its powers allowing it an adequate but passive way of dealing with the cultists. It's a wicked, evil, prequel to the classic genre.
Still, Apartment 7A works as a decent film and is not a waste of time, thanks in large part to its lead and its rather interesting direction.
It may lack bolder intentions and ideas, but it succeeds as a straightforward film with no greater ambitions than to offer an entertaining moment, and it succeeds honestly in some segments and delivers the ending in a clever way. in the most satisfying journey of the whole film.

Apartment 7A sure seems like a nice movie to relax and enjoy. That's for someone who isn't interested in the horror part of a movie. I once saw this movie in my browser and I though of downloading it because it's horror. Now, thanks to your review, I know better.
It is a film that follows in the footsteps of Rosemary's Baby.
