I stumbled upon this movie on the Youtube platform and I was delighted with the plot of it, its very well cared scenes and the story it tells and its characters perform excellently.
We can see in it the value of friendship and also what circumstances lead us to realize, just as the fragile of justice at times and what attitude is able to make us change our health.

The story is inspired by the life of Count Philippe Pozzo di Borgo, author of the book Le Second soufflé, who became a quadriplegic after a paragliding accident in 1993, and his friendship with Abdel Yasmin Sellou, an immigrant with a criminal record who entered his service as a home assistant.
The adaptation of this was made by Olivier Nakache, who wrote the script, giving it a personal touch, the action takes place in Paris, where Driss of Senegalese origin, in need of some signatures to prove that he has worked after being granted parole, comes to where they are looking for personal assistant to serve Philippe and is selected to do a job he has never done.

An odyssey begins for the man who, amidst scenes of humor, in a space of opulence that he never imagined living in, ends up creating bonds of friendship with the man he cares for and to act and make him think in a way that is far from being sick.
These changes turn out to be positive and caring for him becomes an adventure full of pleasant and unusual moments that make both characters move forward in their vision of the future of their lives.
Francois Cluzet, an award-winning French actor, plays Philippe and Omar Sy plays Driss, directed by Olivier Nakache, who was also the screenwriter, and Éric Toledano.

The film was shot at the Hôtel d'Avaray hotel in Paris and quickly became a cultural phenomenon in France and the second most successful French film of all time in terms of number of viewers (19 million).
The cost of the production barely reached 10 million euros and the box office takings exceeded 430 million dollars, winning both the film and its protagonists several awards, such as the Goya for best European film in 2012, the Cesar for best actor in 2012 for Omar Sy, Tokyo Sakura Grand Prix for best film in 2011 among others.

He managed to re-popularize in his country the classic disco song Boogie Wonderland, by Earth, Wind & Fire.
A cinematic gem that I highly recommend watching it.
