Jared Leto plays the anti-hero Morbius, who embarks on an experiment to cure his disease, the consequences of which will be unpredictable and deadly.

From here on, we have all the typical elements of this type of film: the protagonist's pretty girlfriend, the villain (who is easily predicted to be himself), the police investigating the murders that are taking place and the protagonist's wise doctor friend. .

On a casting level what I didn't like was the waste of a great actor like Jared Harris because at the beginning it looked like he was going to be super famous but he wasn't and ended up passing away without pain or glory.

With so little screen time, it is a crime to have an actor of this calibre in this production and waste him in this way.

On a visual level, the film's special effects are of a very high standard, which is the minimum required in any current production.

Jon Ekstrand's music knows how to add an epic dimension to the film when necessary.

However, the battles can be a bit confusing at times, as it is sometimes impossible to make out what is going on as they are shot in many shots in a row.

All in all, the film is very entertaining, there's no denying that, and its length also helps, which I think is just right so that the pace doesn't drag at any point and doesn't need to be prolonged unnecessarily. .

Its little touches of horror cinema are also appreciated, it's minimal, but in that sense it has some beautiful scenes.

The best: Jared Leto looks great as Morbius. Visually, it's remarkable. This is very interesting.

The worst part: wasting Jared Harris like this. The combat can be confusing at times. It's very predictable and versatile.
