I stumbled upon this film by chance on Youtube, its title caught my attention, I decided to watch it and I was not disappointed, despite being a Spanish production that had a strange failure at the box office as it grossed just 400 thousand euros of the million and something to produce.

Both the direction, production and script are by Miguel Angel Lamata and the leading role falls on the beautiful Michelle Jenner known for her roles in the TV series Los Hombres de Paco and Isabel where she personifies Queen Isabel and nominated for a Goya for best new actress in 2012 for the film "No tengas Miedo", with whom she won the Sant Jordi Cinematography Awards as best actress for the same and other awards, and her partner in this romantic comedy, as it was cataloged was Eduardo Noriega who was also nominated for a Goya in 1997 for the film Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes).

The film takes place in the Spanish city of Zaragoza and begins with the unconventional meeting in the cafe of a bookstore and start an unconventional relationship of knowing each other without saying their names, Carlos is a somewhat frustrated screenwriter while Irene is an extroverted, unconventional and funny girl and is the one who proposes the game where the main rule is that he does not fall in love with her.

The setting is perfect, the encounters always have different interests and gradually the armor with which both try to hide the real situation they live is falling down.

The exteriors show different parts of the city and were filmed in three Aragonese provinces made up of the cities of Teruel and Zaragoza and the town of Boltaña located in Huesca.

There is a lot of philosophy, books, authors, quotes and a somewhat bucolic atmosphere with places where art has its domain.

Personally I was captivated by the eyes of the protagonist and the dialogues, sometimes tedious for those who do not like literature, but with great content that associates them with life itself, not only of the protagonists but also of the common people, I found them intelligent.

In the end the film received mixed reviews from the academics and the names chosen by chance by both were unconventional, Crazy Fairy and Wacky Elf and had an imagined but surprising double ending.

I recommend it for a bit of unconventional enjoyment of life and love and everyday situations seen from a romantic perspective.
