Hello everyone hope your day is going great. Today I'd talk about my last animated movie for this month, "The bad guys".

The bad guys, is an animated dream work movie that is fascinating and enjoyable with a lot of twists and cartoon cliches. The movie is set In a world where animals freely interact with humans while humans are less of the focus and everything is exactly the way it's painted to be, with respect to Judging a book by its cover.
A group of animals consisting of a wolf, a snake, a spider, a shark, and a Piranha, due to their vastly stereotyped nature of being dangerous, team up to become the baddest and most feared criminals in the city.
They carry out acts like robbing, looting, and stealing, completing each one in style so that they become seriously hated by the habitants of the city including the chief of police who has dedicated her whole life to ending the reign of this villainous team.
They continue carrying out this diabolical act swiftly and evilly, until one day, they decide to become good.

Analysis.
The plot is basically simple, the good guys become bad guys and the bad guys become good guys, with a lot of twists and turns that make the movie pan out from being an embarrassing childish movie to a watchable family-friendly delight with a lot of technical gibberish. The movie played heavily on the idea of people judging a book by its cover to generate a story arc that lead to both heroes and villains clashing at the center to reveal they're true identity.
I mean, who wouldn't be quick to blame a case of a missing guinea pig on a snake... it's just natural. But what if the snake went missing?? Well, what is sure, is that no one would suspect the guinea pig, even when it's guilty.

The cast
Sam Rockwell who voiced the wolf. The wolf is my favorite of the characters and is the brains of the operation and even though there are a lot of things going on, the wolf is the main character of the movie. And I like the fact that he is frequently allowed to interact with the camera making the movie a lot more interesting to watch.

Marc Maron who voiced the snake. Snake is the sef looting animal who has conformed to the ideology his haters have of him. He cuts himself off from the world and enjoys showing people what they see him as.

Akwafina who voiced the tarantula. Though tarantula is smart, she is not the brainiac of the team, and the movie identifies her as being self-denial. But what is undeniable about her, is that she has eight legs and whenever it comes to hacking, she's not afraid to use them.

Craig Robinson who voiced the shark. Shark is the fun one, he loves to play dress-up and helps the team whenever they need a distraction or diversion, he also gets pissed off whenever the snake refuses to share his lollipop with him. He strongly believes that snake has the ability love others apart from himself.for me he was never bad to begin with.

Anthony Ramos who voiced the Piranha. Piranha is the crazy one, funnily interpreted as the trigger-happy member of the team not afraid to take risk and loves a good explosion.

Richard Ayoade who voiced Professor Marmalade. Prof.Marmalade is a guinea pig who has everything good but still turns out to be the mastermind. He tries to get the bad guys to become good but fails every time. His reason for being bad is just stupid.

Zazie Beetz who voices Diane Foxington. She's appointed as governor of the town and allowed the writers to twist a lot of the movie to their advantage.

Alex Borstein who voices the police chief. She's the classic brawns and no brains gimmick. All she wants is to catch the bad guys. Although she succeeded, her grudge helped to stir some comedy.

What I like about this movie is how it just randomly came up with twists and turns that positively affected the movie. The introduction of Foxington as a criminal despite being a Governor is just epic. But the fact that they introduced her as a criminal also allowed the writers to use an easy way out. The writers applied a whole lot of technical gibberish to bring the movie to a quick and worthy conclusion. And even though the movie came to a happy conclusion that could be seen from a mile away, the fact that they used technology to quickly solve their problem was just very obvious byt still forgivable.

In conclusion, if you love animations, with twists and turns, and mostly unrivaled excitement, then welcome home. Because this movie will have you laughing out loud and smiling happily on your way to sleep. So why don't you grab a bowl of popcorn, turn off the lights, and go on an epic adventure with, the bad guys.
