I'm a fan of the 'famous' Ray - The Apu trilogy...wah, what a stunner!!
I like how you present The Holy Man, which I haven't yet seen.
I guess I might not've commented but for:
...about conspiracy theories and alternative facts. Some of it is so far fetched and outlandish that is it hard to belive that how come any sane person believes it!
I'm curious as to why that might be - in an friendly, amused sort of way. You see, to my mind and for example, a few years ago the notion that one's every move would be 'tracked' and 'traced' was considered far-fetched and outlandish, yet it is an accepted 'norm' of today!
My friend, IMO, it's not so hard to believe that sane people believe in narratives which are 'alternative' to the mainstream, given how tightly controlled and owned almost all of traditional media is....one of the reasons I'm on Hive btw.
Pic below is from 2006:

There are certain things that are FACTS, and there are no alternative facts. There are alternative opinions and that's fine, but not alternative facts. For example, Earth is round. This is a fact. Earth moves around Sun. This is a fact. There are no discussions on these facts. Unfortunately, there are people out there who doesn't believe that. That is a problem. We can put them under mental institution and treat them, but often they are cognitively able and do not believe that they are sick. There lies the problem.
Right, so you don't like the 'Flat Earth' theory...ok. I wonder why it's a problem if other people believe in it though.
Are you really suggesting that folk who believe in such things should be locked up in mental hospitals? C'mon!
And 'cognitively able' but not believing that they are sick? Kinda like they 'look normal' but are actually sick and don't know it....but you do?
I don't get your logic, but we can leave it at that, unless you wish to add anything or carry on.
The difference between facts and opnion is simple. The first doesn't require any logic, the second one does :)
