Hi my movie and TV lover friend, I hope you are doing great, I just watched Netflix's Hustle, a sports movie of self-improvement, told in a genuine and innovative way within the predictable that this type of movie can be. Adam Sandler along with Lebron James used all their influences to execute a common and ordinary script in the most attractive and entertaining way possible, and boy did they succeed! And the first thing that caught my attention in Hustle is the casting, since most of them are not professional actors, and this, although it can subtract points at an interpretative level, it adds points to the verisimilitude of the film.
Hola amigo amante del cine y la TV, espero que estén muy bien, acabo de ver Hustle de Netflix, una película deportiva de superación personal, contada de manera genuina e innovadora dentro de lo previsible que puede ser este tipo de película. Adam Sandler junto a Lebron James usaron todas sus influencias para ejecutar un guion común y corriente de la manera más atractiva y entretenida posible, y valla que sí lo lograron! Y es que lo primero que me llamó la atención de Hustle es el casting, ya que en su gran mayoría no son actores profesionales, y esto, aunque le puede restar puntos a nivel interpretativo le suma punto en lo verosimilitud de la película.
The story introduces us to Stanley Sugerman (Adam Sandler) who works as a recruiter for the Philadelphia 76ers team, Sugerman travels the world taking first class flights and staying in 5 star hotels, while hunting for new talent to join this NBA team. The thing is, Sugerman is tired of that job, he wants to be an assistant coach, he gets the job, but in order to keep it he has to go out and find a star for the team. This will lead him to meet Bo Cruz (Juancho Hernangomez) a Spanish single father who works as a bricklayer and plays street basketball.

Durante toda la película vamos a ver pasar todo tipo de personalidades conocidas en el mundo del baloncesto, jugadores y exjugadores de la NBA, jugadores de streetball, entrenadores, empresarios, algún dueño de equipo, comentaristas e influensers. Todos eso cameos lo van a disfrutar muchos lo que son fanáticos del baloncesto y conocen algo de la NBA.
The plot of Hustle is common, typical of any TV movie related to the world of sports, updated to this time of social networks and trends. So it makes it a normal movie within the sports genre, do not expect to see a "Million Dollar Baby" of basketball, but it is entertaining and very enjoyable. What I liked most about the film were its very well done training montages, of course they are being played by sports professionals and that gives a spectacular touch of realism to the sequence, accompanied by an appropriate soundtrack, which does not transcend much further, I explain better: I really enjoyed the sequence and the music, but I kept thinking that it could be the music of any youtube video or Instagram story. The cinematography is excellent, all those factors manage to get the viewer into a very convincing basketball world, and that's what I enjoyed the most about this movie. Another sequence I really liked was the set up for the DRAFT COMNINE, the whole individual competition seemed very exciting and real to me.
La puesta en escenaLa trama de Hustle es común, típica de cualquier película para la televisión relacionada al mundo del deporte, actualizada a este tiempo de redes sociales y tendencias. Por lo que la hace una película normal dentro del género deportivo, no esperen ver una “Million Dollar Baby” del baloncesto, pero si es entretenida y muy disfrutable. Lo que más me gustó de la película fueron sus montajes de entrenamiento muy bien logrados, claro están siendo interpretados por profesionales del deporte y eso le da un espectacular toque de realismo a la secuencia, acompañadas por una apropiada banda sonora, la cual no trasciende mucho más allá, me explico mejor: disfrute mucho la secuencia y la música, pero no dejaba de pensar que podría ser la música de cualquier video de youtube o historia de Instagram. La fotografía es excelente, todos esos factores logran meter al espectador en un mundo del baloncesto muy convincente, y eso es lo que más disfruté de esta película. Otra secuencia que me gustó mucho fue el montaje para la DRAFT COMNINE, toda la competencia individual me pareció muy emocionante y real.
Hustle is a movie that fans of Adam Sandler and basketball are going to really enjoy, the training sequences are very inspiring, the Challenger is a lot of fun and the movie overall is very enjoyable. But that's as far as it goes, it doesn't go any further so you shouldn't expect more from it. It never made me annoyed or despair, I didn't have to fast forward anything, I enjoyed the approximate one hour 46 minutes that the movie lasts. Sports connoisseurs will enjoy the cameos much more. In my humble amateur opinion I give it a 6/10 and recommend it for an afternoon with the family.
Opinión personal:Hustle es una película que los fans de Adan Sandler y del baloncesto van a disfrutar mucho, las secuencias de entrenamiento son muy inspiradora, el Challenger es muy divertido y la película en general es muy disfrutable. Pero hasta ahí, no va más allá así que no deben esperar más de ella. Nunca me hizo molestar ni me desespero, no tuve que adelantar nada, disfruté la hora 46 minutos aproximados que dura la película. Los conocedores del deporte van a disfrutar muchísimo más con los cameos. En mi humilde opinión amateur le doy un 6/10 y la recomiendo para ver una tarde en familia.

Habría jurado que era una película de comedia pues Sandler casi siempre protagoniza películas de ese género. Personalmente no soy muy fan de Sandler pero siempre termino viendo sus películas, reconozco que es un buen actor. Bue post, no creo que llegue a ver esta película, pero me gustó tu reseña. Saludos.
