The Joker is the last movie I saw in the cinema until Oppenheimer. In hindsight, it's kind of fitting, actually: watching society collapse on itself like a car crash, with breadcrumbs leading us to another mad scientist who will stop at nothing, even if it means vaporizing the entire universe. Let's build more and more...

The narrative and development of the first movie is really great. However, honestly, I think this second part doesn't have the strength to do anything like it.

I couldn't agree more. They keep making the same mistakes, movie after movie, from the Matrix to Highlander, losing all credibility as an art form to the greedy pigs that they really are... They're turning my love for cinema into nothing but a sour memory.
