The film ‘Tenet’, directed by Christopher Nolan and due for release in 2020, is a cinematic journey that challenges conventional notions of time and space.

Its plot follows an agent known only as the Protagonist, who finds himself immersed in a world where the flow of time can be reversed.

This forces him to adopt new physical rules and flex his thinking.

Throughout the film, the Protagonist must unravel the mysteries of time in order to avoid a global catastrophe, while discovering his role in a story in which he himself plays a part.

The narrative of ‘Tenet’ invites us to question the nature of time and our ability to perceive it, suggesting that creativity and the ability to think outside the box can serve to transcend our limitations and fulfil our mission in this reality.

On a technical level, the film achieves an almost impeccable workmanship, thanks to the budget used, which is perceived in every detail.

It conveys the feeling of James Bond-like adventures by jumping between international locations, while at the same time generating eerie Matrix-like sensations in the way it plays with speed and the shots with which it portrays the action scenes.

It is fascinating to see how he weaves the plot in some passages, recovering previous ideas from films like Memento.

However, the complexity of the narrative makes it difficult at times to follow the thread of events, leaving the viewer to interpret the details.

On an acting level, the lead performances of J.D. Washington (Denzel's son) and Robert Pattinson stand out, forming a convincing lead pair.

Kenneth Branagh also shines in his antagonist role, lending him credibility.
