As Emily becomes more involved in Lilith's life, she begins to notice strange and disturbing behaviours in the girl. Lilith seems to have a supernatural connection and an unsettling ability to manipulate those around her.
Despite warnings from her colleagues and growing concern for Lilith's safety, Emily becomes increasingly drawn to the girl and decides to take her into her own home.
As the story progresses, the relationship between Emily and Lilith becomes increasingly tense and dangerous. Emily begins to experience strange and terrifying events, leading her to question her own perception of reality.

The film plays with the idea that Lilith may be more than just a traumatised child; her behaviour suggests that she may be possessed or have a dark secret.
Through Renée Zellweger's performance, there is a compelling portrayal of a woman trying to save a little girl, only to discover that the real threat may be closer than she imagines.
This film combines elements of psychological horror with an intriguing narrative, keeping viewers on edge as the story unfolds.
