Revolutionary Love Korean Romantic Comedy Review

in CineTV2 years ago

A Korean romcom is a film or drama with a lighthearted, comedic feel, with the main focus of the story being the emergence of a romantic connection.

The fact that they are so simple to watch and adaptable to a range of psychographics is what makes romantic comedies such a pleasant movie genre.

Here is one of my favorite Korean romantic comedies.

Byun Hyuk’s longtime buddy Kwon Jae-hoon (Gong Myung) is employed by Gangsu Group to hide Hyuk’s misdeeds. Jae-father hoon’s is a devoted driver for Kang-soo and was imprisoned as a result of Hyuk’s error, which is why Jae-hoon hates Hyuk.

Story

Byun Hyuk unintentionally runs into Baek Joon, who thinks he’s merely a Gangsu Group employee because he’s wearing a cleaner uniform. Later, after being evicted from his home, Hyuk moves in with Jae-hoon. Hyuk is coerced into doing part-time jobs by Joon, who gives him the courage to confront the wrongdoing and harsh business methods of the Gangsu Group in the process.

Kwon Jae-hoon, Byun Hyuk, and Baek Joon band together to reveal the corruption of the Gangsu Group while Woo-sung and Kang-soo fight valiantly to bring Hyuk down.

Review

I am giving this kdrama 4 out of 5 stars. First I like the casting. Choi Si won, Kang So ra, and Gong Myung are not only nice to look at but they are also very entertaining.

Yes, the story line is kind of typical Rich boy meets Poor Girl, Sibling Fight and Friend Rivalry, but it is fine as long as the movie is entertaining. I also like the supporting characters in this Kdrama, they all fit their characters, Especially Choi Si won's parents.

I've already watched this a couple of times, not because I didn't understand it but because this is one of my Go-To feel-good Dramas.
