Winter is not one of my favorite seasons, because whenever we say in my town "winter is here", it usually causes a lot of damage because winter here is just rain and nothing else. It never snows but it is a different climate than the one we are used to have with the sun that makes our faces toasty.
The movie that I have considered to participate is called Terror in the heights, although terror, terror does not have hahaha, well I consider that always in a movie that someone dies and there is blood and that is terror, so I took this movie because besides that I love it wraps you in a suspense that lasts until the end.
Terror in the heights or in some other cases we can also get it as Death on the Mountain, is a very classic movie, as it is typically about an adventure of three friends who want to spend a different weekend in the mountains to ski, and they manage to climb the mountain and spend a nice afternoon skiing. This trio of friends consisted of Dan, Parker and Joe Lynch.
Then Lynch tries to convince his friend Dan to go to a ski slope for professionals, since the one they had been to was for beginners, but they spent the afternoon there because Parker didn't know much about it, so he wanted to feel like enjoying himself a little more but leaving Parker aside.
Lynch and his friends convince the chair attendant for the descent as they wanted to go up one more time but it was too late to do so, so they manage to convince the attendant to let them go up.
The person in charge of the chairs is distracted from them and leaves another person in charge of the station of the chairs, however before leaving the manager tells his partner who would be in charge that there were three guys who had gone up, but after they see three guys down on their ski boards, he thought that no one would be left up and decides to stop the chairs and friends were trapped and held a few meters from the ground, so Parker despairs because that station is only open on weekends and that is where the journey really begins.
In the heights, and having already spent a good time, Dan realizes that the young Parker had burns on his face by low temperatures, so Dan decides to go down without paying attention to his friend Lynch who told him not to do it because it was very high, even so if you ignore Dan is launched and falling breaks both legs, so that soon after some wolves arrive and ended the life of Dan.
Linch and Parker are the only ones left in the chair, trapped in the heights, so Linch tries to move to other chairs by the ropes to be able to go down, but the chair where they were is untied and tries to get loose, however he manages to get to another chair but he realizes that below were again the wolves that had killed his friend Dan.
Linch manages to get down to the ground scaring off the wolves, and goes down the mountain on a ski board but surprise was that the wolves chased him and a few meters away they ended up devouring him.
The next day Parker sees that help still does not arrive and tries to get off but the chair also ends up falling on one of his legs preventing him from walking, and he only manages to crawl and in some cases roll clinging to the trees, he walks a little and that's when he saw Linch dead.
Parker continues rolling through the snow until she reaches the road, where a person who came by car manages to see her and helps her to take her to a hospital.
I really like the suspense that this movie leaves.
And according to some experience I tell you that the last time I was exposed to so much cold was a college trip to the Andean states and it was so cold that the fruits had ice on the outside as if they were in a refrigerator and I asked in the cafeteria for a coffee, I did see people putting a small thermometer in it but as my coffee felt rather cold I didn't feel the need to use it, and gentlemen when we came down from that cold my lips and mouth were completely burned by the coffee that apparently was very hot but up there because of the cold it didn't feel hot. It is one of the most unpleasant experiences with winter.
