Well, I think that's how the Voze couple saw it, and the price for them was all about profit making opportunities. I personally see things like that very differently. Plotting a coup d'état where there are representatives elected in fair, democratic elections and acting in line with law and constitution would amount to treason in my books.
I liked Anya Taylor-Joy's performance; particularly the scene of her character faltering when trying to find words to describe De Niro's character and his achievements. I think that was something new she'd added to her acting skills.
