I was watching the rise of Mattel industry the other night, how they're planning to become the next Disney. This movie is just the beginning of creating the Barbie universe. I think we're going to see movies on specific barbie characters pretty soon, also Mattel's own OTT platform.

Yeah they've already announced sequels I think. Didn't know about OTT platform though.
