I've to agree with you about the introduction part, there are people who just watch the movies for the sake of it, but they don't realize somethings the plot holes and irrational storyline just completely ruin the whole experience in an instant.
I haven't watched the movie Ghostbuster but judging by your pointed out flaws, it's safe to say it would be a pain in the ass to watch :v
