Hello friends of hive, I hope you are all well, a big hug to all this community and all those who follow and read what I write here in this section of cinemania, today I want to talk about a great movie, a classic of romanticism, a story inspired by one of the books of the great writer Nicolas Sparks, this writer has many books that have been successful in the world and his stories have changed the world of dramatic cinema, as many of his stories have become great cinematic stories. The movie of which I will talk a little is none other than the classic "Noah's diary or the diary of a passion in some countries".

THE NOTEBOOK.
Noah's diary is a romance movie from 2014, a story that is told through the memories of the protagonist Noah, who reads his memories and memories to his wife who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Little by little while he is telling his stories to this lady who is in a nursing home, we realize that the lady is his wife who does not remember anything, and he hopes that she remembers while he tells all his stories written in a diary. This diary is all their experiences and memories, and everything they went through in order to be together for life.
Plot:
The story of this movie takes place in the 1940's, when two young men meet at a fair in south carolina, there a young girl Allie Hamilton and boy Noah Calhoun meet and instantly like each other, they start dating and living a summer romance, where they fall in love, they are from different social classes, she has money and is from an upper class family and he is a poor lower class girl, still the young men live a great summer romance, not thinking that their love would last for a lifetime. Allie's parents oppose the relationship and when they return to their world, the two young people are separated for a long time. However, neither could forget the other. Both grow up with very different lives, but one day after a long time, they meet again and begin to live their romance again, and against all odds, they manage to grow old together. This is the story told by an elderly Noah with his wife who is in a nursing home and he tells her so that she can remember, since Allie, now an old woman, has Alzheimer's.
Ptotagonists:
The main protagonists are the actors:
"Rachel McAdams" who plays Allie Hamilton and "Ryan Gosling" who plays Noah Calhoun, " James Garner" who plays the role of elderly Noah and actress "Gena Rowlands" who plays elderly Allie. These are the main characters of the film.
Release date:
The movie was released in November 2004, and was a box office success, grossing $50 million of the $30 million that was invested in making it. The success was also due to the popularity of the book that was a success from the moment it was published and fans of the book were eagerly awaiting this film. Then on September 26, 2005 it was released in dvd format.

Director:
In charge of directing the film was "Nick Cassavetes" who is known for making romantic stories, he has also directed successful films such as "The Other Half of the Night". Romance is his strong side for the screen. Aside from being a director, he is also an actor and screenwriter.
Producer:
The executive producer of this play was "Mark Johnson" who is also a writer, hailing from the United States. He is a producer known for producing renowned films such as "The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" which also won two Oscars. In the diary of a passion, he worked with the director and both made a masterpiece of romantic cinema that has become a classic over the years.
Screenplay:
The screenplay of the movie was written by "Jeremy Leven" who is a writer of novels and a successful screenwriter in the romantic cinema, who worked in films like "The American Dream". His work as a screenwriter was excellent making a screenplay very close to the story of the book, of course it has its differences but, without leaving the original story written by "Nicolas Spark" in his novel, making a very emotional and sentimental movie.

Soundtrack:
The music in the movie is very important, it was written by the musician "Aaron Zigman" who had already worked in other movies like "Chocolat" and "A place in the world". Aaron knew how to hook the audience with the music for each scene, moving the feelings. But the soundtrack is not only this composer, there are also other musicians such as "Ben Folds, Yann Tiersen, Dashboard Confessional" and the renowned singer and composer John Legend who performs one of the most famous songs of the film entitled "All of me".
Visual effects:
The visual effects are scarce in the film as they focus more on the narrative of the story, the few effects effects that were made was by CGI to enhance a little realism in some scenes of the film.
Fun fact:
Something curious and to some extent a little surprising is that the main actors Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, recording and performing the film did not get along well, the something very curious because in the tape, you can notice their chemistry when acting and interpreting, then it was learned that they became very good friends at the time of the release of the film, but while shooting the film they did not get along very badly. How surprising.

Based on:
The movie is based on the novel by the famous writer "Nicholas Sparks", which tells the story of Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton, the book which is titled "Noah's Notebook" is a commercial success of romantic young adult literature. This world famous writer has many successful books that have been turned into successful movies as well.

Criticism:
The criticism of the film is mixed, there are those who like it and those who do not like it, of course there are more positive reviews than negative. The performances of the protagonists are incredible with a surprising professionalism because as I said above they did not get along well, however on screen has a chemistry that catches the viewers really that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, are two spectacular actors, whose performances enhance the story and turned it into a classic of the romantic hundred, the music of the film is also very exemplary and gives the perfect touch that makes this movie unforgettable and a success of cinema. The reviews are positive in all its splendor.
Opinion:
For me the movie is a total success of romance, the performances are the best of all the stories around each character from the point of view of each one in their worlds divided by social classes. I loved Noah's story, with his father and everything that happens with his house, it is very sentimental. I also like the message that the movie leaves, that love can do anything and goes beyond class and money. I also like the fact of how they touch the subject of Alzheimer's from the point of view of love, and makes us see that this disease is very difficult to treat, so the patients only need love, and the relatives need patience and to give them a quality of life, to make them feel loved, even if they don't remember anything. In particular, I love the movie from beginning to end.
Conclusion:
To conclude, we can say that it is a successful movie that is very good and shocking for all the story it contains and its development. The story is incredible, the characters are fascinating. I recommend it 100%, for all those who like the romantic genre in the cinema, this is a film you can not miss. The diary of a passion as it is called in some countries, I also recommend the book if you like to read, it is also fascinating and you will notice the differences between the novel and the movie. It is a classic that has become over time one of the favorite films for lovers of romance.

I hope you liked this work, thanks for reading me here in cinemania. See you in a new post a thousand blessings. Remember to watch the movie.
