Sad that the murderer wasn't discovered. At least I think it made the killer go into hiding which reduced the amount of death order in Boston at that time.

It did! The problem the police had at that time was lack of credible evidence to tie the suspects who were in prison already to the murders. It's sad that the dead women did not get justice. 🙂
